Inspiration? Bringing the graphic novel to life...of course! I had this image of the 2D graphics jumping out of their frames and into 3D. For me, it was the action captured in the stills, coupled with the vivid colours of the stills. The humour of the titles came from the delirium I had because it was kinda late at night when I was making these, lol. Plus...the original images are so stark and serious on their own, I thought it would be fun to lighten things up a little. What better way than to use some unexpected modern day phrases (We will, we will Rock You!) to express a completely different intent in a previously very serious still.
